7 Reasons To Have a CrossFit Girlfriend

There are many reasons why dating a CrossFit girl is a good idea.

Ask Question? 1

Being strong, powerful and competitive isn’t just a guy thing. In fact, there are plenty of women out there who care just as much about being a total beast as you do. If you look at many of the women who participate in the sport, they’re not only in amazing shape but their dedication and discipline is extremely attractive, not to mention very impressive by the same token.

So, if you’re not already convinced that you should have a CrossFit girlfriend then allow us to explain 7 reasons why few men would be opposed to the idea…

Also, check out our 7 reasons to have a CrossFit boyfriend.

She’s Very Strong and Athletic

If you’re planning on heading to the nearest CrossFit gym today then we couldn’t blame you. Now, on average, men are typically stronger and more athletic than women but with a CrossFit girl who trains seriously, the gap will probably be smaller on average unless you’re a pretty strong athlete yourself.

But even if she was stronger pound-for-pound wouldn’t that be kind of… sexy?

Not to mention she can do some of the heavy lifting as well (literally).

That Dedication

If you’re a guy who appreciates his gym time and puts serious effort into your training then having a girl alongside you with the same goals and dedication will not only make your progress more enjoyable but it’s an amazing way to bond with her over a common interest.

But if at any point you’re looking kind out of shape and aren’t putting in the effort which you should, well… you can count on her to kick your butt back into gear. She’s committed to her training no matter how she feels on a daily basis and so should you.

Dedication
Dedication

Fitness is life for people who dedicate long hours to improving their performance and physique so we’ll leave you two to enjoy your active lifestyle together.

She’ll Need Your Support (And You’ll Need Hers)

If she’s passionate about CrossFit then it’ll naturally become a part of daily conversation. And we just hope that you’d be very supportive of her endeavors even if you don’t take CrossFit seriously or participate in it all. After all, it should make you feel special that someone is counting on you to be there to cheer them on every step of the way (yeah, you’ll be doing that a lot during her training and competitions too).

But she should reciprocate and do the same for you because it takes two to tango, right? So, even if you don’t participate in CrossFit or take it seriously, it’d be a good idea to find something that you can work toward so you can both experience the excitement of supporting each other.

You Can Train Together

This is the perfect opportunity for both of you to not only bond with each other but to also really encourage and learn about each other as well. When you’re physically and mentally tested, only then is it possible to see a person’s true character.

And it’s good to know how someone handles pressure.

So, while you’re performing your pull-ups, she’ll be there right beside you trying to keep up (or maybe you’ll be the one trying to keep up with her).

You can push each other and what could be better than looking forward to daily gym sessions with your girl.

You’ll Have To Be Healthy

Your girlfriend will be spending a decent amount of time preparing foods and we’d expect you to be doing the same right alongside her. Healthy nutrition is important for health, well-being, and performance but prepping your meals is also another activity where you can bond with each other.

Not to mention, there will be many trips to the grocery store which ought to be quite fun with the woman of your dreams…

Oh, and you’ll probably have to kick that junk food habit. She’s just great isn’t she?

Exercise Helps Mood

Engaging in physical activity is proven to release ‘feel-good’ chemicals in the brain called endorphins. She’ll be addicted to this feeling and by making it a daily habit, well… let’s just say you’ll be a happy man and you know exactly what we’re implying.

But we’d also expect for you to engage in physical daily activities as well so that you can both benefit more often.

She’s a CrossFitter

You get to tell people that your girlfriend is a CrossFit athlete… aren’t you proud of her?

It’s an uncommon activity which will result in some interesting conversations and you can probably avoid having to talk about the more private details of your relationship with others who might be a little nosey.

Final Thoughts

Dating a CrossFit girl has many advantages and the 7 reasons above should convince you of why it could be exactly what you need in your life. But we do believe you should share common interests with someone to make for a happy relationship overall.

So with that being, if you do happen to get a CrossFit girlfriend, remember to keep these things in mind.
