Eddie Hall has often been involved in talks regarding combat sports, but his upcoming endeavor is truly something special. Specifically, Eddie plans on taking part in an MMA match, but with an unusual twist, as he will not be fighting against one man, but instead two of them at the same time. So, he recently shared some training footage on Instagram of his preparation for the 2 vs. 1 MMA match.

Eddie Hall will be battling against the Neffati brothers, who have managed to build a huge following across multiple social media platforms. Most notably, their TikTok account boasts over 19 million followers. The brothers seem significantly smaller in size than Eddie, but do have strength in numbers. The bout is set to take place as a part of the World Freak Fight League event, which is scheduled for June 7th in Blackburn, England.

Being an unconventional fight, Eddie Hall also turned to unusual training formats. So, he got the help of two sparring partners, which tried to push him with so-called punching shields, while his goal was to counter the attacks while putting in some powerful strikes.

The Neffati brothers have since commented on Eddie Hall’s training footage, asking if the video was in slow motion. With this, the brothers wanted to mock Hall’s speed and agility. However, Hall had a comeback of his own, stating “your hits are gonna feel like I’m fighting a fly off”. So, Hall will be relying on his strength and size to win the 2 vs. 1 MMA battle.

Eddie Hall has been looking to make his debut in Mixed Martial Arts for some time now. He was initially supposed to be a part of a $300 million event, along with the likes of Mitchell Hooper, Brian Shaw, and Martyn Ford. However, that fell through, but Eddie’s desire to fight never went away. So, he will now be a part of an extremely unique match, which promises to bring tons of entertainment.

However, although this is set to be his debut in MMA, Eddie Hall already has experience of fighting, having had a boxing match against Hafthor Bjornsson. It was one of the heaviest boxing matches in history, with two giants exchanging blows through multiple rounds. Hall ended up losing the match, but hopes to make his career in MMA more successful.

Eddie Hall has also trained with some great MMA figures, and even got KO’d by a leg kick during one session. So, he has definitely been pushing himself to the limits. It has also been paying off, as Eddie recently broke the record on the PowerKube punching machine. For reference, the previous record was held by the UFC superstar, Alex Pereira.

Regardless of the outcome, the match should be fun to watch, seeing that the former World’s Strongest Man will try to display his strength against two opponents.
