Watch The 2023 Shaw Classic

The long-awaited 2023 Shaw Classic is almost underway, with the action set to take place on August 19-20, in Loveland, Colorado. The interest for the show is at an all time high for multiple reasons, one of them being the newly trademarked title, as the Shaw Classic will give away the title of ‘Strongest Man On Earth’. In addition, being one of the greatest competitions in the world, the Shaw Classic attracted numerous elite Strongmen. So, we are set to witness four WSM champions going head-to-head.

With the 2023 Shaw Classic approaching, many fans wondered if there is a way to watch the competition from home, as not everyone is able to witness it in-person. The official Instagram page of the Shaw Classic competition responded, and revealed where and when you can watch the show.

How To Watch The 2023 Shaw Classic Livestream

There will be a livestream for the 2023 Shaw Classic, but it will be exclusively broadcast on adlpro.live. It will require you to purchase the stream first, but ADL will also make sure to post the full video on their page even after it is over. So, you will be able to rewatch it later on as well.

Included in this livestream will be the Pro Division, Shaw Classic Open for Men & Women, Armwrestling matches, as well as feats of Grip Strength in between events.

Schedule

*All of the times listed below are local to Loveland, Colorado — Mountain Standard Time (MST)

Saturday (August 19th)

  • Shaw Classic Open — 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.
  • Strongest Man On Earth (Pro Division) — 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Sunday (August 20th)

  • Shaw Classic Open — 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.
  • Strongest Man On Earth (Pro Division) — 1:00 P.M.

The Shaw Classic Open is separate from the Pro Division, as the athletes had to qualify for the first one, while the Pro Division is an invitational. So, anyone could have applied for the qualifiers and secured their spot in the Open division. On the other hand, the Pro Division features only the greatest Strongman athletes in the world.

The winner of the Shaw Classic Open will automatically receive an invitation to the Pro Division next year and get to compete against the greatest Strongmen in the world. For example, Thomas Evans won the 2022 Shaw Classic Open, thus claiming a spot in the Pro Division this year. So, he will now compete against the likes of Shaw, Stoltmans, Novikov, Hooper, and others.

In addition, the fans who witness the 2023 Shaw Classic in person will have the chance to visit the Expo and talk to over a dozen incredible athletes and other figures.

The 2023 Shaw Classic will also be unique and special for another reason, and that is because Brian Shaw will make his final professional appearance ever. He plans to retire, but wants to do it on his own terms, in his own competition, and in front of people who love him.

Watching the 2023 Shaw Classic will definitely be worth the time, especially since there will be a large number of competitors and carefully designed events to determine the Strongest Man On Earth. There will also be arm wrestling matches, grip strength feats, and other entertaining performances during the broadcast.
