Over the weekend, several of the biggest guys in the open bodybuilding division appeared on stage for some guest posing at the Pittsburgh Pro, which hosted competitions for the Classic, Men’s Bikini, and Figure divisions. But we all know the Open class bodybuilders were a big part of the event.
William Bonac, Roelly Winklaar, Shawn Rhoden, Dexter Jackson, Kamall, and Brandon Curry all stood on stage to show off their offseason physiques and every one of them looked huge. But all eyes were of course on the 2018 Mr. Olympia champion Shawn Rhoden.
And he looked gigantic, but this could be a sneak preview for what’s to come this year? It’s very possible. But there are 19 weeks left and it’s hard to tell who will win without seeing the final result and the conditioning of each bodybuilder.
The third-place finisher at last year’s Olympia, Roelly Winklaar (Who looked unreal) will likely be right on his heels and then you have the 2019 Arnold Classic champ Brandon Curry who will be vying for the Sandow. But there are several amazing looking guys in the Open division and it’ll be anyone’s guess as to who will emerge victorious.
Shawn Rhoden will have to be even better than last year to retain his title, but he’s got the determination to do so as he showed when he took down the 7x champ Phil Heath.
