Bubba Pritchett has been following in the footsteps of his father, the 2017 America’s Strongest Man, Jerry Pritchett. In turn, Bubba developed a passion for the sport of Strongman, being just 14-years-old. However, despite his age, the incredible prodigy has recently managed to lock out a mind-blowing 260.8-kilogram (575-pound) deadlift in training.
Bubba Pritchett is fond of multiple Strongman events, but it seems that the deadlift suits him best. He is capable of pulling weights that are often impossible for well-trained adults. This was the case recently, as Bubba locked out a 260.8-kilogram (575-pound) deadlift with nothing but a lifting belt and a pair of lifting straps to aid him.
It is important to know that both straps and a belt are allowed in the sport of Strongman, meaning that Bubba Pritchett’s deadlift was raw in that sense. The 14-year-old also posted a question in the caption, asking if his 260.8-kilogram (575-pound) deadlift was a World Record. While it is impossible to confirm or deny, it is certain that Bubba is one of the strongest young teens ever.

Bubba Pritchett has set some massive goals for his future, and he is already working hard in order to fulfill them. Most notably, he wants to become the World’s Strongest Man at some point. Furthermore, Bubba has expressed the desire to become the youngest WSM winner ever. Jon Pall Sigmarsson currently holds that achievement, having won his title at the age of 24 years and 271 days. So, Bubba still has a decade left to break the record. On the other hand, Bubba would also like to become a WWE wrestler and an actor.
Bubba Pritchett’s father, Jerry, is also a 6x WSM competitor, even finishing in an impressive 4th place during the 2020 edition of the competition. Moreover, Jerry’s best event by far was the deadlift. So, major similarities can be seen between the father and the son. Moreover, having one of the greatest Strongman from the modern era behind him should also help Bubba make improvements much faster.
Bubba Pritchett has already made appearances in multiple competitions, but he has always competed against athletes significantly older than him. While that prevented him from recording any wins, it did not stop him from getting on the podium multiple times. Most notably, Bubba placed second in the 2025 World’s Strongest Teen (16-18 YO) and the 2023 America’s Strongest Teen (12-15 YO). However, he is growing bigger and stronger with each day, which is why there is no doubt that he will claim his first major title in the near future.
