Canadian powerlifter Jessica Buettner is no stranger to pulling big numbers having accomplished a good bit in the world of strength sports. Buettner came in first place at the Commonwealth Championships (185 weight class) with a 1,200.4 lb pound total which was a National record, and then she placed second in the 2019 World Classic Powerlifting Championships.
Buettner recently posted a video on Instagram where she successfully lifted 525 lbs/238kgs although it wasn’t an easy task. And with Larry Wheels watching in the background, it had to feel darn good.
This is what she posted with the video on Instagram…
“LARRY WHEELS came to @risestrengthlab yesterday!!! Deadlift – 525lbs / 238kgs beltless was a pretty huge day for me. Missed 545/247kgs but it was just for fun so I’m not too butthurt”.

And she even took on a 405lb/184kg deadlift for 14 reps (as many reps as possible) which is a very impressive feat.
