Things have been a bit hectic for Kiera Aston lately. However that has not stopped her from being able to turn in some pretty respectable numbers in training.
Few athletes provide as much intrigue as Kiera does. At just 21 years of age she became Europe’s youngest IFBB figure competitor, but she does so in a different way than most. She actually takes a powerlifting approach to her training, blending the two styles and creating a unique approach to her fitness.
Yet as she reminded us recently, this unique approach does not prevent Kiera Aston from still being able to perform some crazy lifts. Apparently she has been super busy lately, moving to a new place. However she took time out to share a strong 573lb stiff bar deadlift on her Instagram, showing that she is still able to find time to improve.
“260kg/573lbs STIFF BAR DEADLIFT.
Okay so moving house these past few days have been hectic and tiring. Diet hasnt been on point, and ive been totally out of sync, but i knew I had to get a good session in today regardless to prepare me for my 600lb pull later this week. Still managed to get up to 260kg/573lb deadlift on a stiff bar. This sets me up very nicely to pull 600lbs/272.5kg later this week when im fresh. 600lb will happen this week 👊🏼 Stay tuned.”

As she explains in the post, Kiera is gunning for a 600lb deadlift, which she plans to do soon. This is a goal that she has been working towards for a while too, putting a serious focus on that lift. Here she is a few days earlier doing her last heavy training session before the attempt, pulling all kinds of weight.
As special and unique of a talent as Kiera Aston is, she seems to continue to improve on a daily basis. It will be exciting to see how she looks when she goes for her 600lb deadlift.
