Kristy Hawkins is one of the most consistent and beloved powerlifters in the game, and she just proved why. The fan favorite recently took to Instagram to share a training video that showcased her absolutely mind-blowing power. In the video, Kristy can be seen demolishing a 290-kilogram (639.3-pound) Raw Squat, which is not only a huge PR for her but also marks an Unofficial All-Time World Record.

Despite being inactive on the competition floor, Kristy Hawkins is still putting in a lot of hard work in the training room. She often shares massive lifts, but her most recent achievement left fans in awe. The 45-year-old powerlifter is still making new improvements, squatting 290 kilograms (639.3 pounds) with just a lifting belt and a pair of knee sleeves.

Kristy Hawkins had three spotters ready to help her out in case she failed the 290-kilogram (639.3-pound) squat. However, she didn’t end up needing their help, having smoked the insanely heavy load. Kristy controlled the bar on the descent until she reached a depth that would be accepted in a competition. She then started her ascent, which moved at a steady pace.

While it is unclear if Kristy Hawkins’ bodyweight still places her in the 75-kilogram weight class, her 290-kilogram (639.3-pound) squat unofficially exceeds the All-Time World Record in multiple divisions. It is 7.5-kg (16.5-lb) heavier than the U75KG World Record, 22.5-kg (49.6-lb) heavier than the U82.5KG World Record, and 10-kg (22-lb) heavier than the U90KG World Record.

It is unclear whether Kristy Hawkins plans to make an appearance at a sanctioned powerlifting competition in the near future. However, her dedication to training indicates that it is only a matter of time before she steps onto the platform once again. While her squat is exceptional, Kristy does not neglect the bench press and deadlift either, since she often completes massive lifts in these events as well.

That being said, Kristy Hawkins has made just one official appearance since 2023. She missed the entirety of 2024 but then competed at the 2025 PLU Spring Warrior, where she logged in another impressive performance.

When it comes to the entirety of her career, Kristy Hawkins has competed at a total of 23 meets since 2014. She has won 19 shows so far and has not placed lower than first since 2017. Not only that, but Kristy has also set countless World Records and quickly became arguably the greatest powerlifter in history. She achieved a DOTS score of 711.19 at the 2023 WRPF The American Pro 2, which still stands as the highest score ever achieved in this regard.
