Larry Wheels is always a big attraction at any strength event. Well, he surely didn’t disappoint at the 2020 Arnold Sports Festival where he achieved a new all-time world record performance by apparently only 0.1lbs.

Wheels hit some huge numbers in Columbus which gave him a 1075kg/2370lb total raw w/o wraps at 308lbs; which was apparently 0.1lbs more than the previous world record (2369.9lbs) held by Eric Lilliebridge from 2016.

His big three lifts were as follows…

  • 870lb squat
  • 645lb bench press
  • 855lb deadlift

This is very impressive from Larry Wheels and he definitely had a little more in the tank from what it appeared. He also looked pretty strong in training leading up to the XPC event, hitting a 650lb bench press and even detailed his cycle.
