After replacing Henry Cavill on Season 4 of The Witcher TV series, celebrity Liam Hemsworth’s physique has drawn plenty of attention. His trainer, Mark Humphreys, recently peeled back the curtain on the push workout Hemsworth adopted to bring the role to life.

Intensity, time efficiency, and the quality of each rep defined Hemsworth’s latest push routine. Brother of action star Chris Hemsworth, Liam is no stranger to testing his physical limits behind a camera. Humphreys admits he carefully tailored each exercise in the program to help Hemsworth look his absolute best.

“Liam’s schedule was incredibly demanding with all the stunt training, sword fighting and choreography, topped with hours of hair, makeup and costume,” Humphreys explained. “So we would get in, shut up and focus.

The guy is insanely strong and the Hemsworth brothers know how to pick their parents,’ he shared. “Our training plan would be mainly PPL, when necessary we liked to throw in extra arms and delts, because when you see how he looks in season 5 – you’ll get it.”

Liam Hemsworth’s jacked physique even has his brother talking. He continues to sport one of the fittest and most impressive looks in the Hollywood circuit. Considering how busy Liam’s schedule has become, it makes his latest progress all the more impressive.

To maximize focus and effort, Hemsworth’s coach revealed that they go ‘hard and heavy’ with no phones in sight. The fourth season of The Witcher began on Oct. 30, 2025, and will feature eight episodes.
