A pair of CrossFit are tumbling down the leader board. Both Logan Collins and Christian Lucero were smacked with major penalties.
The crux of the problems comes during the CrossFit Open Workout 20.5.
Logan Collins dropped all the way down to 28th overall after the penalty. Where it hurt Collins the most was in Workout 20.5. With a new post-penalty score of 11:44, Collins is now in 192nd place for Workout 20.5. Collins would sit in the mid 30s of the leader board on Workout 20.5 if not for his 45 second penalty.

Per CrossFit HQ and Collins, muscles ups are the problem for him.
Here is the video of Collins CrossFit Open Workout 20.5.
As for Christian Lucero, he is not going down without a fight. Prior to the massive 60 second penalty, Lucero was among the automatic qualifiers for the 2020 CrossFit Games. Thanks to the penalty, Lucero drops all the way down to 41st place on the leader board.
Where Lucero takes the big hit is on Workout 20.5. Lucero is now in 205th place for Workout 20.5. Previously, Lucero in the low 20s with his 10:46 score for Workout 20.5.
Lucero took to Instagram where he just ranted away.
It looks like Lucero has already lost his appeal as well.
“Measurement was clearly shown of the wall ball target height and line, wall ball midline taped to visually see from all angles, and the correct height that the ball would need to achieve in order to validate a good rep demonstrated.” Lucero said.
“On top of that I also included 120 sequential screenshots of the wallball at the point of contact with the target.”
Lucero would continue with his crusade versus CrossFit HQ.
The CrossFit Open workout 20.5 wall ball movement standards are below:
• The rep is credited when the center of the ball hits the target at or above the specified height.
• If the ball hits low or does not hit the wall, it is a “no rep.”
