Bodybuilder ‘Monster’ Marco Luis Dies at 46, His Wife Makes Statement
Having received an outpouring of support and condolences, Mariza Luis updated fans on the transportation of his body given that he died in a foreign country.
“(Translated) I want to thank everyone for the condolence messages that our family has received these days following the death of Marco Luis Monstro
Me, Melissa Carvalho de Sousa and Lipa Carvalho have already met in Germany with Mariza Luis and we are taking care of the procedures for transferring the body to the island of Terceira.
I sincerely ask you to understand that this phase is being very difficult for my sister. Even more so when things happened in a foreign country.
She has received millions of calls, messages and video calls but is not in a position to answer you.
I only ask for compassion, understanding and love. A hug to everyone” she wrote.
Quero agradecer a todos pelas mensagens de condolências que a nossa família tem recebido estes dias pela morte do Marco…

In addition to his bodybuilding career, Luis was a popular figure on Instagram, amassing over 25,000 followers. He served as an online coach and motivator, regularly inspiring those who struggled to kickstart their respective fitness journeys.
Luis referred to bodybuilding as his ‘love and passion’ and labeled himself as the ‘most shredded bodybuilder ever.’ Often sharing videos of his workouts and posing sessions, it was evident that Luis was committed to the sport. He remained natural until 32 and debuted on stage for the first time in 2018 at 40 years old.
Luis wasn’t the only bodybuilder to pass away suddenly as of late. Influencer Jo Lindner met his untimely death at the tender age of 30. While many believe an aneurysm was his official cause of death, there is ongoing speculation about whether the Covid-19 vaccine or steroids played a role in his passing.
Our team at Fitness Volt sends our deepest condolences to loved ones affected by the loss of Marco Luis during this grievous time.
