Hollywood superstar Mark Wahlberg is one of the most disciplined individuals in his personal life. The American actor, who is best known for movies like Departed, Perfect Storm, and the Transformers franchise, has several accolades to his name including a BAFTA award and multiple nominations for Academy and Golden Globe awards among others. Mark Wahlberg’s incredible physique and work ethic need no introduction. He routinely shares workout videos and physique updates on his social media accounts to keep the fans updated about the progress. A few years ago, he also opened up about the challenges of following a super high-calorie diet for his role in the movie Father Stu.
However, his usual training and diet routine focuses on moderation and discipline. His daily routine astonished everyone when it went viral a few years ago. Wahlberg wakes up as early as 2:30 AM so that he can get a good workout before starting with the work day and professional commitments. After doing the workout between 3:30 and 5:30 AM, he heads out for work at 7:30 AM. The Departed actor is also a big believer in intermittent fasting and according to a report from Insider Magazine, he aims to fast at least 18 hours a day for five days per week.

Wahlberg is still adhering to his early morning routine to keep himself in shape. Recently, the 51-year-old actor shared a glimpse of his early morning abs and lower body workout in an Instagram video. Wahlberg lifted his shirt to show his incredibly sculpted abs while he was training his legs in the gym. His striated and muscular legs are testimony to the fact that Wahlberg never skips a leg day. The video also shows the technical soundness of Wahlberg’s training methods. Having a good range of motion during exercise is extremely important for stimulating the muscles and maintaining joint flexibility. Wahlberg performed the kettlebell deadlifts while standing on two wooden blocks. Because of this, the floor plane could not restrict his range of motion when he lowered the weight.
