Wahlberg is still adhering to his early morning routine to keep himself in shape. Recently, the 51-year-old actor shared a glimpse of his early morning abs and lower body workout in an Instagram video. Wahlberg lifted his shirt to show his incredibly sculpted abs while he was training his legs in the gym. His striated and muscular legs are testimony to the fact that Wahlberg never skips a leg day. “Friends don’t let friends skip legs,” Mark Wahlberg said during the video.
The video also shows the technical soundness of Wahlberg’s training methods. Having a good range of motion during exercise is extremely important for stimulating the muscles and maintaining joint flexibility. Wahlberg performed the kettlebell deadlifts while standing on two wooden blocks. Because of this, the floor plane could not restrict his range of motion when he lowered the weight.
Wahlberg posted another video of him performing cable biceps curls with calf raises. You can watch the video here, courtesy of Wahlberg’s personal Instagram account:
Mark Wahlberg has never wandered away from their work ethic and discipline in spite of stardom, fame, and popularity. More than the physical outcome, his commitment and focus on the important things in life needs appreciation.
