The 2023 Rogue Invitational Strongman competition took place on October 27-28 at the Dell Diamond Stadium in Round Rock, Texas. Despite being a relatively new competition, it has gained popularity among the fans due to the strength of the lineup and great events. So,this year, ten of the greatest Strongmen on earth had to take on five events, each of which was difficult in its own way. It all came down to the last second, but the Canadian Strongman, Mitchell Hooper, came out on top and won the Rogue Invitational.
The lineup for the 2023 Rogue Invitational Strongman was more stacked than ever. It featured three World’s Strongest Man winners, one of whom, Oleksii Novikov, was also the champion of last year’s Rogue Invitational. However, it once again proved to be the year of Mitchell Hooper, who did not make any mistakes from the first minute to the last.

Moving onto the second event, the Iron Bull Sled Pull, Mitchell Hooper turned out to be one of the best as well. Still, he finished in second place, only behind Mateusz Kieliszkowski, whose performance was otherworldly.
The third event, Rogue-A-Coaster, saw Mitchell Hooper’s lowest placement of the entire 2023 Rogue Strongman Invitational. However, even in what turned out to be his worst event, Mitchell still finished in fourth place.
The second-to-last event was make-or-break, since Mitchell Hooper needed a great performance in order to remain in first place overall. Tom Stoltman performed ten repetitions with a 360-pound Log, threatening to catch up with Hooper. So, Mitchell gave it his all and locked out one rep less. Due to this, he entered the final event with a three-point lead overall.
Despite the pressure, Mitchell Hooper remained composed and managed to stick close to Tom Stoltman on the final event. So, while Tom did gain another point on Hooper, Mitchell still came out victorious overall.
