The 2020 CrossFit Open rolls on, with the third of five weeks of workouts being announced tonight! This is all the information about the 20.3 workout, as well as what happened during the stream.

The 2020 CrossFit Open season has been hard on a lot of people. Nevertheless, it keeps rolling on with the 20.3 live announcement taking place today, October 24th. The live stream took place at the CrossFit Gamlebyen gym in Oslo, Norway. Additionally, going head to head with the workout is CrossFit star Kristin Holte, and newcomer to the Games, Nicolay Billaudel.

This is the workout for the 20.3:

21-15-9 Reps of:

  • Deadlift (315/205 lb)
  • 50 ft Handstand Walk

Kristin Holte Copmletely Destroyed Nicolay Billaudel

This workout just added to the already tough string in the CrossFit Open. The 20.3 was a repeat of the 18.4 from two years ago. This workout requires a serious level of concentration, and endurance to help push through the tough exercise.

When Holte and Billaudel stepped up to try their hands at the 20.3, it was expected to be close. While Holte is a far more established name, Billaudel is well known in the European region for his skillset. However, in the end it would not be very close at all.

Both athletes gave their best shot to complete the 20.3. Ultimately, it would be Holte who would walk away with the win, with a time of 6:28. On the other hand, Billaudel was unable to complete the workout, falling short by 18 reps. Therefore it will be exciting to see him give it another try, at a further date.

Athletes have until Monday, October 28th to submit their videos of the 2020 CrossFit Open 20.3. This one is certainly going to be a tough one to complete.
