While Patrick Moore is known as an Open Men’s competitor in bodybuilding, his stunningly aesthetic build may land him in Classic Physique sooner or later. With Patrick Moore’s passion for aesthetics instead of size, it’s possible Moore is preparing for a transition into Classic Physique when he returns to competition in 2023.

Moore might pursue a move into Classic Physique. Following his 10th place performance at the 2021 Legion Sports Fest, the ambitious bodybuilder elected to pack it in for his 2021 season. Recently, Patrick Moore decided now was the best time to take a year off. In late October, the bodybuilder announced that he would not be participating in a competition until 2023.

After his recent social media post, it appears Patrick Moore is taking time off to care for his body and work on consistent gains. Moore placed 10th overall at Mr. Olympia in 2019. Then placed 14th overall at Mr. Olympia in 2021. With his eyes on Classic Physique, the world could be in store for a new and improved Moore transformation.

“What if the comeback wasn’t for open……What if it was for classic physique? What if I cared more about my condition, lines and aesthetics more than size? What if I took all this time to break down muscle and switch categories? Stranger things have happened….?!! #thefuture 🔓” Patrick Moore shared on Instagram Wednesday.

With Patrick Moore taking time away from the sport to grow and learn, his intention is to return revitalized and ready for competition. Patrick Moore has been a very active bodybuilder as of late, here are some of his recent placements in competition.
