With the 2020 Arnold Strongman Classic around the corner (March 6-7), elite Strongman athlete Rob Kearney is absolutely killing it in training with one of his best sessions ever recently where he pulled an Earth-shattering 386kg/850lbs.
Well, Kearney posted this training footage on Instagram and we could all agree that he’s looking pretty good at the moment. So much so, that we should be expecting big things from the ‘World’s Strongest Gay’ (as he refers to himself as on social media) at the Arnold Sports Festival in a few months.
Here’s what Rob Kearney wrote on Instagram along with the video of his big lift…
“Took 850lbs (386kg) for a nice little ride yesterday. I told @derekpoundstone this was the best deadlift session of my career yesterday. Everything is falling into place nicely for the @arnoldsports Strongman Classic!”

Rob Kearney won the 2019 Arnold Classic Australia with some impressive performances and he even got married the same weekend to the love of his life Joey Alexio of which both celebrated by taking a photo with none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger.
But at just 27 years old, the young athlete is looking to improve his position in the sport and heavy deadlifting isn’t his only strength as he also recently did a 320lb strict press in the log press which will help him greatly leading up the Arnold Strongman Classic.
