Robert Oberst may be one of the best strongman athletes in the world, but he is also one of the easiest there is to roast. That being said, he took these roasts like a champ, when he read and responded to mean tweets recently.
Reading and reacting to mean tweets is a pastime that has been popular for some time now. It allows an outlet for people who are bombarded by internet trolls to laugh off their comments, and enjoy their creativity with insults. Not to mention, it provides and opportunity for responding to those comments, without doing so directly.
Well now strongman Robert Oberst has decided to jump on board with this fun activity. He took to his YouTube channel to read and react to mean tweets. Although he says it took him a minute to find some good comments to react to.
“Actually, it’s kind of hard to find mean comments. Normally its super easy for people to pick out stuff to say, but people don’t tend to make fun of me a lot. I don’t know if you guys are scared of me or you just genuinely like me.”
With that out of the way, Oberst began reading through the tweets. There are some real gems throughout the video, that he is able to respond to. Below are some of our favorites:
Alejandro Sanchez says “Robert seems like a strongman that would eat Fruity Pebbles”
“Is that an insult? I do eat Fruity Pebbles, I got ’em in the kitchen right now. Yes, I eat Fruity Pebbles. Shouldn’t we all?”
ImAHorseFacedDipshit wrote “Robert Oberst Breakfast: Eggs, Rice, OJ, Coffee, 3-4 Massive Bong Hits”
“Yeah I guess the secrets out. Most definitely bong hits. Not for breakfast. No, breakfast bong hits not my thing.”
Just Doin Florida writes “I think Oberst came out of the womb wearing that shirt. I don’t think I’ve seen him wear anything else.”
“Well boom, look at what I’m wearing right now! Hey somebody get me this kid’s IP address. I don’t care if it’s an 11 year old girl, she needs to learn her lesson!”
Adam Washington comments “Robert looks like the dude who eats out of the dumpster behind my apartment building.”
“My goal in life is to be as successful as I can while looking as unsuccessful as possible. It’s kind of the Hagrid method (from Harry Potter). The Hagrid-ier you can be the better. So thank you for your sweet comment.”
You can watch the full video below. It is definetly worth it, to see Robert Oberst joke and laugh with these internet trolls. He is a good sport, and had some pretty funny replies.
