WWE Star Roman Reigns Crushes Intense Upper Body Workout for WrestleMania 41

The wrestling star walked fans through how he primed his upper body for one of the WWE's most memorable Triple Threat matches.

WWE star Leati Joseph Anoaʻi, well known as Roman Reigns, made sure his athleticism was on point for his recent wrestling showdown. He showcased an intense and long upper body workout on April 20, 2025, that helped prepare him for the Triple Threat match against CM Punk and Seth Rollins. 

Reigns is a former football player and high-profile American wrestler. As a fixture in the WWE, he is one of the sport’s most dominant and long-standing champions, having accomplished a 1,316-day reign, which is the fourth longest in WWE history and the longest championship reign since 1988. Reigns has headlined several pay-per-views and continues to elevate wrestling and make it more mainstream worldwide. 

His latest match took a huge turn when Paul Heyman betrayed him and handed Rollins a steel chair. Rollins took advantage of the opportunity and followed up with a curb-stomp on Reigns to secure the pin and hard-fought victory.

  • Mid Cable Chest Fly
  • Lat Pulldown 
  • Front Plate Raise
  • Dumbbell Row
  • Standing Cable Upright Row 
  • Incline Bench Reverse Dumbbell Flies
  • Seated Dumbbell Concentration Curls
  • Standing Bicep Cable Curls 

Reigns’ workout ahead of the match was filled with exercises that targeted different body parts. From chest, back, shoulders, and arms, his well-rounded approach helped him with strength, agility, and size in his latest wrestling match-up. He’s made it a point to remain a staple in the WWE even though he’s faced some doubters. 

“It’s funny because a lot of people call me a part-timer,” he explained. “A lot of people got a lot of things to say about my schedule. I’m no part-timer. I’m a full-time cash cow. Every second that I’m breathing, I’m working. That’s how this whole thing works. Proof of concept.”

Roman Reigns isn’t the only famous wrestling icon to make headlines as of late. WWE legend Paul Michael Levesque, whose stage name is ‘Triple H,’ spoke at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. During which, he revealed how the former seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger, influenced him to break boundaries and chase greatness. 

Fans are looking forward to seeing what’s next for Roman Reigns and his budding career in professional wrestling. Based on his consistent training endeavors, he plans to return at his absolute best in no time.
