We’ve already established that 17-year-old Samantha Eugenie can move some really big weight for her size. The french powerlifter who’s become more popular by the day. Eugenie took first place in the sub jr at the 2019 EPF Classic Championships with a 435kg total at 63kg.
She set the sub-junior deadlift and squat record at the same competition with 190kg and 160kg respectively. Plus, her total was also a world record in her weight category. But Eugenie regularly shares her training progress via Instagram and we’ve seen her progress especially with her deadlift performance.
In February of this year, she crushed a 210kg/463lb deadlift PR, then later in the same month she achieved a new deadlift PR of 215kg/474lb.
But it was realistic to expect a new PR shortly thereafter which is exactly what she did recently when she pulled 216kg/476.1lbs at 63kg/139lbs during training.

Samantha Eugenie is preparing for the Nationals now and if she continues progressing as she has been then we’ll likely see new numbers from her. But we’ll be sure to provide more updates on her progress leading up the competition.
