We’ve been following17-year-old Samantha Eugenie as of lately and the young powerlifter from France definitely deserves the recognition she has been receiving for her big strength. Eugenie set the squat world record back in November 2019 with 160kg while competing in the -63kg class. Then in December, the young French powerlifter achieved a 430lb deadlift for a double in training which was a personal record although she also achieved two other Prs that same workout (squat PR 1×2@160kg and bench PR 1×2@85kg).
Then in January, she hit a 441lb deadlift double for a new pr and fast forward to just a few hours ago and she has hit yet another deadlift pr of 210kg/ 463lbs while still weighing 63kg/138lbs. We’ll let you watch the video but after the lift, she was ecstatic, to say the least.
This is what she wrote on Instagram to accompany the video…
“🔥PR DEADLIFT 210KG(463lbs)!!!🔥
17yo -63kg“

That’s very impressive at her bodyweight. In fact, it’s more than 3x her body weight and from what it looked like, she’ll be surpassing this pr very soon.
But if you thought we were done talking about her Prs then you’d be wrong because she also achieved a new bench press pr of 90kg/198.4lbs around the time that she set the deadlift pr.
Here it is…
And just 7 days ago, she hit a new pr on the squat, explaining that she just got “knocked” by a car before training. She had a little hip and head pain but that didn’t stop her from besting her previous squat performance in training.
“PR SQUAT 170KG(375lbs)!🔥
17yo -63kg
I got knocked by a car just before my training, but I’m okay don’t worry. I’ve just a little pain at my hip and my head
C’est pas joli, j’ai overshoot, la prochaine fois je ferais mieux
(Excuse moi d’avoir crié monsieur le spotter😰)“
Samantha Eugenie is an exciting prospect already having made a name for herself in Europe as well as now the United States. So, let’s see what’s next for the young, hungry powerlifter.
