Shaun Clarida has high hopes ahead of the 2025 Arnold Classic. On January 17, 2025, he shared a 190-pound physique update six weeks out from the show.
Shaun Clarida has established himself as a fearsome competitor within the Men’s 212 division, having earned the 212 Olympia title twice in 2020 and 2022, showing he can win back the prestigious title. However, when attempting to defend the crown in 2023, Clarida fell short due to the aesthetics, shape, and conditioning of his rival, Keone Pearson.
Undeterred by his recent loss, Clarida immediately got back into the gym determined to come back even stronger in 2024. Despite his best efforts, Shaun Clarida once again found himself in second place on the Olympia stage behind ‘The Prodigy.’
In his latest venture, Shaun Clarida tested himself in the Men’s Open at the 2024 EVLS Prague Pro. Despite entering the contest under the radar, he overwhelmed most of the lineup in third place with his hard muscle density and posing skills.

There’s palpable excitement surrounding Shaun Clarida’s performance at the 2025 Arnold Classic. He parted ways with his long-time coach Matt Jansen, who guided him to a pair of 212 Olympia titles. Instead, Clarida has teamed up with the ‘Boss of Outlaw’ Stefan Kienzl, who is preparing to bring him in at his all-time best in the Men’s Open class.
Given that Shaun Clarida has challenged himself with other Men’s Open Pro shows of the past, he could easily find himself vying for gold when the curtains rise at the Arnold Classic. He continues to showcase remarkable improvements at each event. If he manages to secure the victory in Ohio, fans might want to see if he has more to offer in the unrestricted category.
