The bodybuilding community is in a state of mourning once again. We regret to inform you that World Champion bodybuilder Suel Nogueira sadly passed away on February 5, 2025, at 40 years old.

Initial reports indicate that he was involved in a horrific car accident while he was on his motorcycle. His bike collided with the car and he was swiftly sent to a hospital in Curitiba, Parana state, Brazil. A witness of the accident has already spoken out to provide some clarity to not only his family members but to his legion of fans who followed his life closely.

The witness explained that the bodybuilder was cruising down a lane in the middle of traffic and he did not see a large vehicle transporting goods in front of him. By the time he came to a stop, it was too late, as he crashed head-on into the massive vehicle. As a result, his motorcycle ended up under the large vehicle following the crash.

At the scene, paramedics hastily made it to him and attempted to resuscitate him for around 40 minutes. These life-saving measures, although unsuccessful, were rendered until he was evacuated by a helicopter. He died on his way to the hospital. It was also revealed that the driver of the large vehicle was not injured.
