As the bodybuilding world gears up for yet another showcase of muscles and strength on the 2023 Mr. Olympia stage, participants are working hard to show off their best. Some of the top guns this year include Nick Walker, Samson Dauda, and Brandon Curry, who have kept fans updated on their journies to their final forms.
With a power-packed 2023 Arnold Classic that witnessed Dauda and Walker go head-to-head, it will be interesting to see what more the champs could bring to the table. Add to that former Mr. Olympia Curry’s quest to become a two-time champ after his crowning moment in 2019, and you’ve got yourself a grand showdown.
Nick Walker shares a glimpse of his mutant physique, weeks before 2023 Mr. Olympia
Coming in strong at about 276 pounds, Nick Walker has got a lot to prove this year. With an outpouring of both praise and criticism, the 2022 Mr. Olympia People’s Champ seems to have nailed a tight waist after years of developing an appropriate routine – an oft-spoken critique surrounding ‘The Mutant’s’ physique.
In his recent update, the bodybuilding champion flaunted his mind-boggling V-taper as he posed for the camera. The caption under the photo, however, acknowledged his critics and their feedback about his aesthetics.
“Apparently not pleasing to the eye” Walker wrote, referring to the negative comments about his physique. However, the champion doesn’t seem to be deterred as he chisels away for a perfect look on the Olympia stage.

After a successful run at this year’s Arnold Classic, Samson Dauda is all set to crush the stage at 2023 Mr. Olympia. The bodybuilding sensation shocked the community when he bagged 6th place at the 2022 Mr. Olympia. Now, weighing in at about 327 pounds, the champion has been deemed unstoppable on his road to the coveted Olympia title.
In his recent physique update, ‘The Nigerian Lion’ stunned fans with his jacked quads and hamstrings. Amidst many humorous comments about the sheer size of his thighs, fellow bodybuilders like Sergio Oliva Jr. also cheered him on, as the champion sets his sights on the grand prize.
Brandon Curry stuns with a shredded physique weeks before 2023 Mr. Olympia
Unlike his fellow contenders who share frequent updates on every move, IFBB Pro Brandon Curry sweats in the shadows. The 2019 Mr. Olympia titleholder expects to return in full force to reclaim what was once his. And his recent physique update is a testament to his goals.
Lauded by champion coaches like Milos Sarcev, Curry showed off an insanely ripped physique as he posed in front of the mirror. While going head-to-head against mass monsters might seem intimidating, the 40-year-old revealed he felt “no stress” and “chill” as his prep progressed.
With 2023 Mr. Olympia approaching soon, the Men’s Open Division is packed with some of the toughest challengers this year. Considering the level of talent heading to Orlando, Florida, the reigning champion Hadi Choopan will be faced with a tall order in less than four weeks.
