What is WZA?
What began as a grassroots 1-day fitness competition with 145 athletes and 500 spectators in 2012, Wodapalooza (WZA) has since established itself as the world’s premier Functional Fitness Festival. The WZA descends on Downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park for four-days and brings together 3,000+ of athletes and 45,000+ spectators and fitness fanatics to celebrate fitness, community and life.
WZA 2020 comes with quite a few changes compared to 2019.
There will be co-ed teams of four rather than three like previously. This allows for a more varying range of competition like the non-elite competitors. This means there’ll be more than 400+ athletes competing and gives more competitors a chance to participate.
The Elite, RX, and Intermediate divisions will be consolidated into one qualifier for individuals and one for teams.
A new beginner division.
More spots open to the Master’s divisions.
Wodapalooza 2020 takes place from February 20-23rd, 2020 at Downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park.
