Joe Weider’s 2026 Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend has its date. On Nov. 26, 2025, the organization confirmed the blockbuster event will return Sept. 24–27. They also revealed that the Palms Casino Resort will be its new host hotel.
The 2025 Mr. Olympia was a history-making event. In the Men’s Open headliner, Samson Dauda was unable to repeat as champion. Instead, the finals came down to a three-man war between Derek Lunsford, Hadi Choopan, and Andrew Jacked. Ultimately, Lunsford became a two-time champ, joining Jay Cutler as the second athlete to reclaim the title after losing it.
Attention has quickly shifted to the next Mr. Olympia contest. While fans knew it would remain in Vegas, details surrounding venues and dates had yet to be revealed. That’s now changed, and fans anticipate another unforgettable bodybuilding experience.

Although some fans were thrilled with the 2025 Mr. Olympia, Lee Haney, a former eight-time Olympia winner, had more questions than answers. He found the results confusing and called for two classes in the Men’s Open to accommodate shorter and taller bodybuilders.
The 2026 Mr. Olympia’s new date in September means athletes will have less time to qualify compared to last year. Dan Solomon and the organization are confident that the Palms Casino Resort will give fans an even greater experience when the event makes its return.
