Tearing a bicep or any other muscle is not a fun thing. Be very careful any regular lifting session can turn into a fatal one. If you or anybody you know has encountered a torn muscle than you understand its deadly and painful, takes a long time to recover.

A muscle tear can keep you out of action for weeks, and some of these injuries need to be treated surgically.

Tip: Warm-up your shoulders, body before you move to heavier weights. Start your workouts slowly progress to bigger weights as your body warms up.
