Looking big and massive is unquestionably the ultimate goal of a bodybuilder. However, calling yourself a huge bodybuilder without having the proper muscle mass to back up your claim is like saying you are a doctor but never been to any medical school. You know there are no real quick fixes or shortcuts to put on quality size. You have to train, eat and supplement wisely not just for months, but years.
But there are some times when you want to look bigger. Whether you are a beginner whose looking to impress passersby or you are a competitive athlete looking to appear as huge as possible on the stage. Whatever the reason, the following 6 tips can help you look bigger… instantly.
1. Loading Carbs
The easiest and efficient way to put on a few extra pounds quickly is to carb load. By carb loading you are actually filling your muscles up with glycogen which eventually leads to pulling significant amounts of water into your muscles. Try to eat faster-burning carbs earlier in the day and later in the day, or before a workout, you can eat slow burning carbs like whole grain bread, pasta, and/or oatmeal.
If you consume sufficient amount of water while your glycogen levels are increased as well as pump some iron, then you will be surprised at how massive your muscles will appear.
2. Drink Water
If you want to look or to appear huge and in charge then you’re going to want to be sure that you stay hydrated. One study in athletes reported that less than 15% of them were well hydrated. Any bodybuilder looking to appear bigger, please take note water consumption will be key.

The water you drink has a pretty simple effect on the muscles: it makes them fuller and bigger and fills your muscles making them appear fuller and bigger. It’s a simple tip, one that you should always keep in mind.
Drinking at least a gallon of water a day should help do the trick and try up to two gallons, to make sure your muscles are at their fullest.
3. Take Creatine Wisely
We know we are not saying anything new when we say that creatine pulls large amounts of water into the muscles to increase their size. Creatine monohydrate works, but it can take many weeks to show the impressive gains you are hoping for, actually creatine monohydrate won’t work unless its levels are maximized within the muscle cells and this can take a week or two even if you go through a ‘loading phase.’
Instead of monohydrate try the fast-acting creatine hydrochloride or Kre-Alkalyn. These forms will enhance muscle cell volume almost instantly for fast gains. You can go with 3 -5g of either creatine Kre-Alkalyn or hydrochloride or both before and after your workouts.
