2022 CrossFit Last Chance Qualifier Workouts Revealed

Here is what the athletes will have to do in order to claim the last two tickets for the finals.

The greatest event in the world of CrossFit, which is the 2022 CrossFit Games, is set to take place from Aug.3-7, 2022, in Madison, WI. The roster for this competition has almost been fully formed following the completion of all ten Semifinal contests. However, two spaces remained open in each division, and they will also get occupied by the top finishers at the 2022 CrossFit Last Chance Qualifier. 

The three highest finishers from each Semifinal competition, who narrowly missed securing their place in the 2022 CrossFit Games, will take part in the Last Chance Qualifier. So, some of the greatest competitors from multiple continents will go against each other on June 29 – July 1, 2022, in an online format of competing. They will perform four workouts, which have recently been revealed, and the two greatest men and women will go to Madison.

2022 CrossFit Last Chance Qualifier Workouts

Workout One

From 0-2 minutes:

  • 20 Thrusters (185 pounds /125 pounds)
  • Max-Rep Bar Muscle-Ups In The Time Remaining

From 2-4 minutes:

  • Rest

From 4-6 minutes:

  • 20 Bar Muscle-Ups
  • Max-Rep Thrusters In The Time Remaining

Workout Two

For max distance:

  • 2,000-meter Row
  • Max Distance Handstand Walk In The Time Remaining

Time cap: Men: eight minutes / Women: nine minutes

Workout Three

For time, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 repetitions each of:

  • Clean & Jerk (225 pounds / 155 pounds)
  • Shuttle Run (50 feet)

Workout Four

Two rounds for time:

  • 50 Burpee Box Jump-Overs (24-inch / 20-inch box)
  • 75 Double-Unders
  • 100 Wall-Ball Shots — 10-foot target (20 pounds / 14 pounds)

Time cap: 20 minutes

Since the athletes will have to send video submissions, similar to what they did in the quarterfinals, they will also have a deadline.

  • First Submission Window (Workouts One & Two) — From 12 p.m. PT, June 29th, Until 12 p.m. PT, June 30th
  • Second Submission Window (Workouts Three & Four) — From 12 p.m. PT, June 30th, Until 12 p.m. PT, July 1st

2022 CrossFit Last Chance Qualifier Rosters

Originally, the 2022 CrossFit Last chance qualifier was supposed to consist of 30 athletes in both divisions. However, not all of the athletes wanted to compete, so the men’s division will see 23 guys battle, while 20 women will be doing the same.
