The Stoltman Brothers, Luke and Tom, recently posted a video on their YouTube channel where they shared a full day of eating in their current lives. The video showed the brothers consuming over 10,000 calories combined in only one day. In the video, we gain an insight into the lives of elite strongman athletes and the challenges they face as they strive to maintain their massive builds. The Stoltmans’ current diet is even more specific, since they are preparing for the 2023 Arnold Strongman Classic, scheduled for March 3-4 in Columbus, Ohio.

Both Tom and Luke Stoltman are renowned in the sport of Strongman for their incredible strength and numerous record-breaking performances, which have earned them widespread recognition and admiration. However, their incredible strength and size come at a cost. To secure their titles as World’s Strongest Man and Europe’s Strongest Man, the Stoltman brothers consumed vast amounts of food. As they strive to achieve even more impressive feats, they remain dedicated to every aspect of their training, including their meticulous attention to diet.

Meal Two

The second meal of the day for Luke and Tom Stoltman was based around protein intake. As with everything else, the brothers took significantly more protein than an ordinary person would, as their shake contained three scoops of whey protein. They also consumed some fruit as a light snack to keep them fresh and energized. Tom opted for strawberries, while Luke chose a mix of melon, pineapple, and mango.

  • Whey Protein — 3 scoops each
  • Punnet of Fruit

Luke Stoltman: 358 calories
Tom Stoltman: 358 calories

Meal Three

Seeing that the third meal was scheduled just before a workout, Luke and Tom Stoltman opted for completely different meals. Luke found the mince and vegetables more fitting for him, while Tom went with a pork burger alongside some potato wedges and an apple salad.

  • Mince & Vegetables
  • Boiled Potatoes

Tom Stoltman: 1,565 calories

  • Apple Salad
  • Potato Wedges

In the aftermath of their pre-workout meal, Tom Stoltman explained how hard it is to stay on the diet and not eat anything else.

“What stops me from cheating is having a cheat weekend now… I’d probably end up throughout the week when I am meant to stay strict… It’s important to have a cheat meal, reset your body.”

Luke Stoltman also had his opinion on the struggles of maintaining a diet, and explained that they use their cheat meals as a way to reset their body for the most important training sessions.

“I agree with what Tom said. It’s important to listen to your body as well… That might not be the same for every person out there.”

Meal Four

Tom Stoltman presented the fourth meal, which turned out to be almost identical to one of the previous ones. He and Luke made another protein shake with three scoops, while they replaced the punnet of fruit with an oats bar.

  • Whey Protein — 3 scoops each
  • Oats Bar

Luke Stoltman: 596 calories
Tom Stoltman: 596 calories

Meal Five

As the end of the day was coming by, it was time for Luke and Tom Stoltman to have their dinner. It was once again completely different for each of the brothers, since Tom had his cheat meal. So, Luke ate some chicken and potatoes, while Tom enjoyed eating another burger and some fries.

Tom will once again be the man to beat, as he hopes to claim his third consecutive title.
