MMA-bodybuilding crossover fights make for some interesting conversations. As was the case in a recent Instagram reel, where Bradley Martyn assessed his chances in a fight against the former UFC Middleweight Champion Alex Pereira.

In the last few months, Martyn has entertained the idea of scrapping with combat athletes, prompting many from the MMA community to laugh off his chances. Previously on Martyn’s Raw Talk Podcast, the 35-year-old assumed he would handily defeat boxer Devin Haney and Nate Diaz in street fights.

It didn’t take long for major names in MMA to weigh his chances in the ring or octagon. Former UFC heavyweight fighter Brendan Schaub was among them. Despite being close friends with Martyn, he believes the YouTuber wouldn’t stand a chance against Pro MMA athletes — even if he outweighed them by 100 pounds.

Schaub proposed a grappling match between Bradley and reigning ONE Championship Flyweight Champ Demetrious Johnson. Both men appear to be on board and even Joe Rogan picked ‘Mighty Mouse’ to overwhelm Martyn.

In his latest endeavor, Martyn discussed a hypothetical showdown with one of the UFC’s scariest men. Pereira, who surrendered his Middleweight title to rival Israel Adesanya, has since moved up to the 205-pound division. And even though Pereira has loads of fighting experience, Martyn refuses to count himself out against the Brazilian star.

Bradley Martyn Hints at Needing ‘Tools’ or ‘Stones’ as Weapons in Hypothetical Fight vs Alex Pereira

According to the popular YouTube star, a fight against Pereira would depend on a number of factors like the weather and if they square up on the sidewalk or in the ring. Given Martyn’s freakish strength, he and many others believe he could find success in fights by ‘hulk smashing’ his opponents.

“How do you believe you’d do in a fight against ‘Poatan’ Alex Perreira?”

“Are we in Brazil or in America?” asks Bradley Martyn.

“Wherever you want Bradley,” said the influencer.

“Where are we on the sidewalk or in the ring?” asks Martyn.

“I’m going to say a patchy grassy hill, a little bit of elevation,” replied the YouTuber.

“So stones… so there’s some tools… yeah I don’t know man, honestly it depends, depends on like the weather and the wind, honestly, for sure.”

In addition to Demetrious Johnson and Alex Pereira, Martyn also tried to set up a fight with fellow YouTube star and boxer Logan Paul. Unconcerned about ‘clicks and views,’ Martyn challenged Paul to a no-camera fight inside his Zoo Culture Gym.

Unlike ‘Mighty Mouse,’ Alex Pereira wouldn’t be severely undersized against Martyn if they fought. Even though it’s hypothetical, Bradley Martyn continues to fan flames online about whether he could actually hold his own against Pro-level fighters.
