Nathan De Asha was working tirelessly in the gym determined to make his comeback count last weekend. At the 2023 Flex Weekend Pro, De Asha came in with hard muscularity and killer conditioning to defeat Regan Grimes for first place. Following his win, Nathan De Asha took to Instagram to reflect on the struggles that led him to his latest victory.

The English Men’s Open Pro expressed that he had a point to prove to himself and was willing to ‘suffer’ and ‘starve’ to get the gold. Having not competed since 2021, where he had a flawless season, finishing in first at the Europa Pro, the Arnold Classic UK, and the Yamamoto Cup Pro, Nathan De Asha was set to make his return to the bodybuilding stage after recovering from a double bicep tear.

Consistently sharing physique updates of his progress, it was clear that De Asha was intent on coming back better than ever and with a completely different look. Ultimately his hard work wasn’t in vain as his sacrifices led to him pulling off the victory at the 2023 Flex Weekend Pro Show with a show-stopping physique.

Acknowledging that the show had some of bodybuilding’s top names, Nathan De Asha feels overjoyed about earning first place. Nathan De Asha’s biggest competitor was Regan Grimes who outsized him on stage, though his sculpted abdomen and overpowering lower body eventually carried him to the win.

“The best part of the weekend for myself was seeing my kids up there on stage and how they was looking at there dad, The look says it all to me from my kids and for @tankdeasha to miss football am honoured.”
