Nabil Lahlou is continuing his pursuit of progress, and it seems to be going extremely well. ‘The French Phenom’ has recently decided to permanently move up to the 75-kilogram weight class. So, with a bit more bodyweight and some training, Nabil quickly reached new heights. Although he had multiple PRs across the weeks, his most recent one was very significant. It came during Nabil’s training session, where he managed to achieve a humongous 600-pound (272.5-kilogram) raw squat PR.
Nabil Lahlou has never competed in anything apart from the raw division, which is why his 600-pound (272.5-kilogram) squat PR was raw as well. Thus, he only put on a lifting belt, knee sleeves, and wrist wraps. After getting a whiff of the smelling salts, Nabil got under the barbell and began his attempt. It did not come easy, but Nabil did manage to push through and secure a new personal record.
Interestingly, Nabil Lahlou revealed that he had suffered a hamstring tear approximately three weeks before his squat PR. Luckily, it seems to have been a low-grade injury, as he is already lifting more weight than he ever has before.
“I really wanted this before the end of the year and we got it 💪I guess we starting our road to a 300 kilo squat now 👍”

While Nabil Lahlou’s future goals remain unclear, it is clear that something amazing is in the works. His greatest event, without a doubt, is the deadlift, since he is capable of locking out some monstrous weights with ease. Nabil, however, has made tremendous progress in his other events too, as shown by his 600-pound (272.5-kilogram) squat PR. Moreover, just five days prior, Nabil also set a 345-pound (156.5-kilogram) bench press PR.
As of now, Nabil Lahlou has 19 sanctioned powerlifting appearances to his name, which include 15 victories and countless All-Time World Records.
