“I want to see what the fuc**ng biggest guy in the world looks like,” says MrBeast.
“Right now, we’re kind of at our worst. I want to get the MrBeast reaction,” said Lunsford.
“No [I don’t want to pose] and look like a child,” says MrBeast.
“We want to put you through a brutal leg day,” says Lusnford.
“That’d be fun… but I think we’re leaving,” laughs MrBeast. “I’ve never seen an Olympia competitor in person, I want to see how fuc**ng massive you are.”
MrBeast watched Derek Lunsford hit all eight mandatory poses.
“That’s crazy. Yeah, I know right. Literally, every time he moves, I notice a new muscle in his body. He has like three biceps,” Beast said. “His back is at least 30 muscles.”
When MrBeast asked how long it would take for his friend to cultivate a similar level of mass to Lunsford, the Mr. Olympia said the following:
“How many years would it take Nolan to get a physique like that?” asks MrBeast.
“I’ve been training my whole life man. I started when I was 15. I’m 30. So, 15 years,” said Lunsford. “When I first started [in bodybuilding] well when I went to the gym for the first time I weighed 112 pounds.”
As for body fat percentages, Lunsford mentioned that typically bodybuilders do not dip below 3%.
“That’s wild [Derek’s back double bicep,” said Beast. “What’s his body fat percentage right now?”
“I would say about 3% is roughly about what people will get. Then you dry out. So, trying to get as low as possible man. You gotta think, you gotta keep the size of the muscle too especially being an Open bodybuilder.
Trying to keep the size of the muscle, the shape of the aesthetics, along with the cuts and the details. There’s judging criteria. So, shape, symmetry, conditioning, hardness, fullness, graininess, all this and posing, presentation, so all of it goes into play.”
Lastly, Lunsford complimented MrBeast on the hard work that went into his recent physique transformation.
“I’m saying this in my underwear,” said Lunsford.
“You have a majestic body, it’s okay,” said Beast.
“Hey by the way, like I said earlier, awesome transformation man. That’s a lot of hard work, but I know it’s not easy because I’ve had one of your Beast Burgers and they are FIRE DUDE!”
In the meantime, it appears MrBeast will continue thinking of creative and innovative ideas for his YouTube empire, as well as the various businesses that he has ventured into. Considering he’s taken a keen interest in his health at an early age, it made meeting Derek Lunsford all the more memorable, especially considering the champ loves to maintain a clean diet almost year-round.
While we may never see MrBeast grace a bodybuilding stage, it is always an entertaining time when one of the internet’s most famous celebrities mingles with the bodybuilding community.
