The 2024 Detroit Pro took place on Saturday, April 13 in Dearborn, Michigan, headlined by the Men’s Open division. This event was a Mr. Olympia qualifier for later this year.
Bodybuilding fans were treated to an intense showdown with top contenders like Martin Fitzwater and Vitaliy ‘Goodvito’ Ugolnikov vying for the top spots. The results are now in, and Martin Fitzwater emerged as the winner, securing his place at the Mr. Olympia stage. Vitalii Goodvito claimed the second spot, followed by Ronald Gordon in third place. Excitement continues to build for the 2024 Mr. Olympia competition, set to return to Las Vegas, Nevada for its 60th anniversary. Olympia President Dan Solomon has teased that this year’s event will be historic. Competitors have until September 15 to earn a Pro show victory to ensure their presence on the big stage.
With only the top three Mr. Olympia finishers from last year automatically invited back, qualifying for this year’s event is more challenging than ever. The Detroit Pro delivered the high-stakes drama fans expected, setting the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable Olympia season.
