Eddie Hall is known for pushing the limits when it comes to his strength but he may have gone too far this time. In a recent YouTube video shared on October 21, 2024, Hall tore his tricep after attempting two reps of dumbbell shoulder presses, which amounted to a staggering 220 pounds.
In the world of Strongman, Eddie Hall is a legend known for his incredible feats of strength. At one point, Hall held the world record for the deadlift, reaching 1,102 pounds in 2016. Shortly after, in 2017, Eddie Hall earned the title of World’s Strongest Man. In 2018, Eddie Hall decided to finally end his storied strongman career, leaving behind a legacy of accomplishments. His rival, Hafthor Bjornsson, eventually broke Hall’s record with an earth-shattering 1,104-pound (501-kilogram) deadlift.
Hall hasn’t limited himself to just one sport, though. Instead, he has participated in several fitness adventures ranging from combat sports to trying out new diets, such as the carnivore diet that has helped him lose 15 pounds in just 30 days.

Despite his injury, the Strongman great still has time to recover before facing off against Brian Shaw for their first arm wrestling match. Hall has proven himself a formidable opponent no matter what arena he steps in, especially when it comes to MMA. He showed as much after knocking out the Neffati brothers in his two-versus-one debut MMA match.
Eddie Hall took his MMA training seriously, sharing his intense preparations with fans just weeks ahead of the big fight. Hall went as far as breaking the UFC Champion Alex Pereira’s record on a punching machine, with a score of 208,000 versus the Brazilian champion’s 191,000.
Former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall is constantly pushing himself inside the gym. Unfortunately, his intense training has led him to tear his tricep but we are all hoping he heals quickly. With adequate time to rest, Eddie Hall should be back to pulling off impressive feats of strength before we know it!
