Wesley Vissers is undergoing final touches to his diet and physique ahead of his 2025 Arnold Classic title defense. On February 27, 2025, he walked fans through his full day of eating just days before stepping onto the prestigious stage.

Vissers‘s 2024 bodybuilding season was packed with highlights. He upset Ramon Queiroz at the Arnold Classic, shocking the world en route to securing the title. That was only the beginning. Wesley Vissers then traveled overseas to the Arnold Classic UK competition and claimed gold there as well.

He entered the 2024 Mr. Olympia with perhaps more momentum than any other bodybuilder on the roster. However, when he finally hit the stage, Vissers appeared flat, which caused him to earn an eighth-place showing. Instead, Mike Sommerfeld was the one to push Chris Bumstead before the Canadian champ decided to leave the division. Now, locked into his title defense, Vissers opened up on what he’s eating in the last stages of preparation.

Meal 2

  • White Rice
  • Fish

While he gave out limited details for his second dish, he quickly showed that it was fish and white rice. His primary focus is on retaining fullness for the 2025 Arnold Classic.

“It’s really time to enjoy, relax, let stress levels go down, fullness go up because that is what we need to win.”

He had a repeat of his ‘Victory breakfast’ later in the day but added coconut water to it this time.

“Normally, I would be using over a liter of water. Now I’m using 500 mils of water because we want to not dilute electrolytes. It’s a mistake I’ve made before which costs me fullness.”

“Time for the final meal before the weigh ins tomorrow. This is going to be pretty much the biggest meal in terms of it’s the meal before going to bed.”

“I didn’t show you every single meal today because I’ve been focused on relaxing, eating” he explained

It will be interesting to see if Vissers has the combination of fullness and conditioning that won him gold in 2024. Sommerfeld looks to be improving with each passing day, leaving fans eager to see who will emerge victorious when the Arnold Classic returns from February 27 to March 1.
