Andrew Hause has been a standout athlete ever since he started doing powerlifting, having demonstrated his talent whenever he stepped foot on the competition floor. Well, following two years of inactivity when it comes to competing, Hause made an appearance at the 2025 USPC Shack Showdown III on November 22-23 in Thomasville, NC. He competed in the 140-kilogram weight class and proceeded to set new Raw Squat & Total All-Time World Records.
Andrew Hause’s Full Performance Breakdown
Andrew Hause weighed in at 132.8 kilograms (292.8 pounds) for the 2025 USPC Shack Showdown III. This is a good sign, since it shows that Andrew is allowed to put on 7 kilograms (15.4 pounds) and still compete in the 140-kilogram weight class. More mass often brings heavier lifts, indicating that Andrew could set some more records in the future.
When it comes to his performance, Andrew Hause completed seven out of nine lifts, missing out on his final bench press and deadlift. As a result, he wrote on Instagram that he was “not happy with my performance”, especially in the aforementioned events. Regardless, Hause won the competition and walked away with two new World Records.
Squat
Andrew Hause exceeded the U140KG All-Time World Record on the second attempt, having locked out 444 kilograms (978.9 pounds). However, his mind was already racing toward the final attempt, since Hause had a goal of demolishing the record. So, he added 24 kilograms (52.9 pounds) to the bar, which came out to 468 kilograms (1,031.8 pounds) in total.
Having competed in the raw division, Andrew Hause was only allowed to use a lifting belt and knee sleeves. However, the competition used a monolift squat rack, which meant that he did not have to walk backwards with the bar. This time, the bar moved much slower, but Andrew still managed to reach lockout.
