Chris Hemsworth Gets Jacked With Minimal Equipment Workout in Prep for Extraction 3

Australian actor Chris Hemsworth refuses to miss a training session, even when he’s soaking up sun in Costa Rica. In an Instagram post from July 17, he showed off the workout he’s using to get jacked for his upcoming role in Extraction 3

Hemsworth is known for sporting one of the most impressive physiques in Hollywood. He doesn’t make excuses and finds creative ways to train while traveling. Whether he’s pushing the pace in Kenya, Africa, or teaming up with MrBeast for a brutal session, he makes it count. The Thor star has also focused on explosiveness to make on-screen combat hyper-realistic. 

Time is money for the blockbuster actor, so oftentimes, Hemsworth improvises with what’s available to him. Despite having less time than most, he has shown it’s possible to improve strength and endurance with just a 20-minute session. Now, he’s giving fans a glimpse into how he’s preparing for his latest movie role. 

“A little Extraction 3 training sesh in the blistering beautiful heat of Costa Rica,” shared Chris Hemsworth. “I wanted to get a little workout in so I created a minimal equipment program or session, which was pretty damn effective, especially when it feels like it’s a 150 degrees out.”

During the video, Hemsworth encouraged lifters to perform two sets of each exercise. With 17 different movements, that comes out to a total of 34 sets. Hemsworth has long prioritized endurance training, which should help him handle even the most demanding scenes in the upcoming action film.

Chris Hemsworth isn’t the only top-grossing actor keen on staying in shape. According to IMDb, there is no confirmed release date for Extraction 3. In the meantime, Hemsworth will continue to stay prepared with workouts around the globe.
