Why he deserved his 2018 Olympia placing and Neil “Yoda” Hill goes to train with Big Ramy in Dubai
The year 2018 turned out to be an extremely underwhelming year for Big Ramy as he placed well below expectations. His fans were disappointed and even he apologized but how could he have placed so low while looking do amazing?
Here is a photo Big Ramy posted in his hotel room before the 2018 Olympia…
…By looking at Big Ramy here, there would essentially be nothing to indicate such a poor placing, however there are a few arguments which can be made.
He had ideal lighting in his hotel room which hit his physique pretty perfectly, and it showcased him in a very ideal setting… but, we must remember that he is a top IFBB pro who has placed second at the Olympia in 2017, so he will look amazing when compared to 99% of all bodybuilders regardless. However, once you step on stage and all the elite bodybuilders are compared next to each other, it’s not hard to see why he didn’t look as impressive up on stage at the Mr. Olympia competition.
This is just a pure proof of how perfect you have to come in to compete for the top spot.

Although his showing was lackluster compared to previous competitions, we do have to admire the inspiring message he posted along with a photo on Instagram…
“Stay positive and happy. Work hard and don’t give up hope. Be open to criticism and keep learning. Surround yourself with happy, warm and genuine people.”
Hopefully, Big Ramy will bring it in 2019 because time may be running out for him. With that being said though, he is aware of the necessary changes he needs to make in order to squeeze his way into the top two again. However, this is obviously easier said than done since there’s nothing easy about being flawless.
Neil “Yoda” Hill will travel to Dubai to train with Ramy for seven days so let’s hope this pays off in some way…
“Tomorrow I head to Dubai to train with @big_ramy for 7 days. Now I’m looking forward to finally getting some personal time with this great Athlete in the Gym and with him. Let the games begin.”
We know Big Ramy has the genetics and work ethic to become Mr. Olympia but can he get it together to bring a package like we’ve never seen before?
