The annual Arnold Classic Ohio is a massive event that athletes and fans around the world look forward to every March. However, Covid-19 pushed back the usual date for the massive sports festival but the good news is a new date has been set according to several sources; Saturday, September 25, 2021. Both the Arnold Classic and Arnold Strongman Classic are scheduled to take place on this date. The location for the event may be the usual Columbus, Ohio, or Santa Monica, California.
Note: The Arnold Sports Festival has yet to reveal a date on its website or social media at the time this article was published.
Crowd Restrictions and Expo
Early last year, the Arnold Classic was one of the first to feel the effects of the novel coronavirus, and although the show went on, it wasn’t without restrictions.
But with vaccines and improved preventative measures being implemented, fans could be able to attend this time around. Although, it’s uncertain as to whether there will be an expo where large crowds gather.
Open bodybuilding
This year, Open bodybuilding could be the only division participating at the Arnold Classic of which the winner will qualify for the 2022 Olympia. So this would be unfortunate for the other categories but it isn’t necessarily set in stone either.

If the date stands, the Arnold Classic will take place about a week after the Arnold Europe in Seville, Spain, September 17-19, and a week before the inaugural Arnold Classic UK that’s scheduled to take place in Birmingham NEC, October 1-3, 2021. Then after the UK show, we have the 2021 Olympia the following weekend.
