This was a solid performance from Amanda, who always has really good form in her lifts, specifically her squats. Moreover, the 84kg athlete says that this was a tie for her best lift ever, which makes it even more mind blowing. The way she hit the lift, one would never guess that this is her heaviest ever lift.
Lawrence has been making some big improvements on her squat game over the last few months. Here she is a few weeks earlier, scoring a new personal record for her paused squat. She did this by hitting a strong 540lb with ease.
Amanda Lawrence continues to show that she is an ever-improving talent in the sport. It seems like every time we see her, she is only getting better. It will be exciting to see her push these squat numbers even farther as she continues to grow and get better.
