As one of the most beloved bodybuilders to step on stage, fans have gotten behind Arnold Schwarzenegger for decades. Having worn many hats, the Austrian native has led the acting world and even took on the role of Governor of California for a period of time. He has always prioritized his health and in a recent YouTube video, showed off his bandaged arm following an elbow nerve damage surgery.

Information from TMZ revealed that Schwarzenegger was healing up nicely after the recent operation. Despite there being no mention of the surgery on his social media channels, Schwarzenegger appears to be back to his usual day-to-day tasks.

Hours before the surgery, Schwarzenegger was seen getting a workout in on Thursday. Returning to his office in posh Beverly Hills, the former bodybuilding champion looked rested and happy.

In a previous TMZ report from February, Schwarzenegger was involved in a traffic collision with a cyclist. Fortunately, no one was hurt following the accident and Schwarzenegger was later cleared of any wrongdoing.

Aside from his brushes with health scares, Schwarzenegger has firmly committed to making fitness more mainstream, a goal he’s attacked relentlessly with his daily podcast/newsletter Arnold’s Pump Club. With bodybuilding gaining traction and obesity becoming a growing concern around the world, Schwarzenegger consistently relays health tips, workouts, and strategies for staving off the natural effects of aging
