Men's Wheelchair Division
How long this division has run, and how much of it this page holds on record.
Men's Wheelchair Division is a competitive bodybuilding division sanctioned by the IFBB Professional League. Competitors are judged on the eight mandatory bodybuilding poses performed from the chair, where extended abdominal or stomach muscles are scored down. This page is our record of that division: the champions year by year, the shows that run it, and every athlete we hold a result for. Men's Wheelchair has been contested at the Arnold Classic in 8 years on record, and Harold Kelley has the most Arnold Classic wins in it, with 4.
What the judges reward is transcribed from IFBB Professional League Rules, accessed .
Men's Wheelchair Division at a glance
How deep this division runs and how a career in it actually looks. Avg career and contests per athlete cover only athletes with two or more contests, because someone who entered once and never returned says nothing about how long a career lasts. Avg competitors per contest is all-time.
Wheelchair Olympia champion
The most recent Wheelchair Olympia champion on record in Men's Wheelchair is James Berger, who won the 2025 title.
Rules & weight classes
What the published rule page states for Men's Wheelchair, transcribed rather than summarised. Where that page specifies nothing, this card says so instead of filling the gap.
- Attire
- Solid black pants, or solid black shorts where a medical condition prevents wearing pants. The black must stay consistent and non-distracting and carry no advertising or endorsements. Shoes are recommended but optional.
- Posing
- Eight mandatory poses. The individual routine at judging is up to 60 seconds; the finals posing routine is up to 90 seconds, followed by a 60-second posedown.
- Judging
- Quarter turns, mandatory poses, and callouts. Judging counts 100%; finals callouts may replace the judging score as confirmation. Athletes with extended abdominal or stomach muscles are scored down in both Judging and Finals.
The IFBB Professional League publishes no goal and weight cap for this division, so we do not state one.

Wheelchair Olympia champions by year
Every athlete on record as Wheelchair Olympia champion in this division, most recent first. One chip per year, so an athlete who won it more than once appears once for each title, and a name links to that athlete's page where we hold one.
Arnold Classic champion by year
These are the champions of the Arnold Classic in Columbus. Each year links to that edition's results in this division. The run is not continuous: no Arnold Classic champion is on record in this division for 2021.
Regional Arnold editions
The Arnold Classic has also run pro editions outside Columbus. Those are separate contests, so their winners are listed here rather than in the run above, and they are not counted as Arnold Classic titles.

Earlier Arnold championships are on record in this division and are not counted anywhere on this page: Harold Kelley (2016, 2017). We date Men's Wheelchair to 2018, so either that date or the filing of these results is wrong, and we do not assume which.
Men's Wheelchair Division athletes qualified for the 2026 Wheelchair Olympia
10 qualified for the 2026 Olympia. Another 10 sit in the points standings, where the top 5 get in.
The names are the League's own list. Beside each one is the route our own contest record can evidence: a win in this division inside the qualifying window, a placing in the top three at the previous Wheelchair Olympia, or a past Olympia title. Where our record evidences none of those, the route is left blank rather than guessed at.
Names are spelled the way the League lists them, which is not always the way our own archive records the same athlete elsewhere on this page.
| Athlete | How they qualified |

| Kevin Secundino | Placed 2nd at the 2025 Wheelchair Olympia |

Source: the IFBB Professional League's qualified athletes page. The League's qualifying window for this season runs September 15, 2025 - August 30, 2026. Wins are read from contest results we hold up to August 29, 2026, so a win at a show more recent than that is not reflected in the route column.
Major Event Winners
Winners from the most recent results in this division, at contests the archive files as an Olympia, an Arnold or a top-tier show. One card per athlete, so this is who has been winning lately rather than the whole roll of honour.

How shows are grouped and counted
These counts are drawn from every recorded result in this division, amateur and professional alike, because that is the whole of what the contest archive holds. The list of shows below is the one narrower set: it counts only IFBB Professional League and IFBB contests, and it counts recurring shows rather than individual contests, so it is not a subset of the figures here.
Shows are grouped by contest series, not by contest name, so one event the sources spell several ways counts as one run. Three pairs of series the archive holds twice are merged into a single show, and the Olympia weekend is read as one event rather than as separate men's, women's and fitness listings; any merged row names the series it was built from. A show counts as professional when its federation is the IFBB Professional League or the IFBB, and two series the records mislabel as professional are excluded by name because no column separates them. Contests with at least two recorded editions in this division are listed, and single-edition entries are counted separately. A span reports what the archive holds, and nothing about when the division was created.
Height and weight on record
We hold a height and a weight for 2 of the 170 athletes in this division. That is too few to summarise: this page publishes a median only from 25 measured athletes or more, so it shows none here rather than a figure a handful of people could move.

Search the athletes in this division by name, or change the order. Results and Wins on each card are career totals across every division an athlete has entered, not their record in this division, and the default order is most career wins first.
Men's Wheelchair Division rules: common questions
What poses are required in Men's Wheelchair?
Front double biceps, front lat spread, side chest, back double biceps, back lat spread, side triceps, abdominals, and most muscular.
Who is eligible to compete in Men's Wheelchair?
Athletes must use a wheelchair for at least 99% of their daily mobility and hold a verified mobility impairment documented by a medical professional. Athletes who rely on crutches, canes, or prosthetics for daily mobility are not eligible.
How long is the Men's Wheelchair posing routine?
The individual routine at judging is limited to 60 seconds. The finals posing routine is limited to 90 seconds.
Does Men's Wheelchair have a published weight cap?
No. The Men's Wheelchair rule page sets out eligibility, attire, posing and scoring in detail, and states no weight limit at all, so we do not state one.

About this record
This page settles who has won in Men's Wheelchair, in which year, and how deep the record goes. Where there is something to say about how it differs from the divisions beside it, this page says it. It does not judge a physique.
The rules and weight classes above are transcribed from a published rule page, which that section names and dates. They are not inferred from the division name, and where that page specifies nothing this page prints the absence instead of filling it.
- Every figure on this page is drawn from one set of records: 178 athletes, 490 results and 142 contests.
- Results belong to this division by division type, the authoritative identifier on the contest record, not by matching the division's name. Divisions that have no type fall back to their recorded names.
- Olympia titles count a contest flagged as an Olympia with an overall winner, one title per year.
- Away from the Olympia, the winner of a contest is the athlete placed first inside this division on that contest's result row. An overall placing across divisions is never counted as a win outside the Olympia.
- The top-athlete order is a fixed ranking: Olympia titles first, then major and pro show wins, then wins inside this division. Nothing on the list is hand-placed.
- Athlete and result counts are all-time and include amateur competition, so they run ahead of the pro-only record.
- The browse list on this page holds fewer athletes than the Athletes figure in the header. Rows identified as non-athletes, rows kept as name-collision placeholders, and rows with an open data issue are held back from search, while their results still count toward the totals in the header above.
