Chris Aceto is highly confident in Chinedu Andrew ‘Jacked’ Obiekea‘s bodybuilding future following his statement performance at the 2024 Texas Pro. In a recent Rx Muscle interview published on August 11, 2024, coach Aceto predicted Andrew Jacked to win the 2024 Mr. Olympia contest on his third attempt.
Over last weekend, attention in the bodybuilding world shifted to Andrew Jacked. He made it clear that he was only interested in performing at the annual 2024 Texas Pro, as he aimed to pull off the three-peat with a dominant performance. When the dust cleared, Jacked was largely unchallenged on his way to bagging gold at a groundbreaking 299 pounds.
Chris Aceto Confident Andrew Jacked Is ‘Going to Win The Olympia’ in 2024: “He May Dominate It”
The mass monster stole headlines thanks to his size, aesthetics, and improvements from last season. Jacked brought up his quad sweeps, his back detail, glutes, hamstrings, and his arms, all while maintaining a tight waist. Considering he just earned his Pro card in 2022, the leaps in his physique left the bodybuilding community in a state of shock and awe.
That included his coach Chris Aceto, who alongside Chris ‘Psycho’ Lewis, delivered a supersized 2.0 version of Jacked. In light of Jacked’s success in the Lone Star State, he qualified for the 2024 Mr. Olympia, where his coach believes he’ll possibly win the entire thing courtesy of the vast improvements we all saw on display in Texas.

According to Chris Aceto, ‘a new sheriff is in town and it’s the new and improved version of Andrew Jacked.
“A new sheriff is in town,” shares Chris Aceto. “The plan was to take the entire year off to grow and put Andrew 2.0 on stage, and that’s exactly what we did.”
Refusing to mince his words, Aceto confidently expressed that Andrew Jacked is going to win the 2024 Mr. Olympia.
“I’ve said it all the way through since last year. You’ve listened to me, not you, you being the plural, that he’s going to win the Olympia. I was wrong last year, I said he was going to win the Olympia last year but unforeseen things with travel, between the Texas show which was only seven weeks which is now nine weeks.”
He explained that Andrew Jacked’s ultimate goal is to become the best bodybuilder in the world.
“He has what it takes from the neck down. I’ve said, he has what it takes in spades from the neck up,” shares Aceto. “This is about being the best bodybuilder in the world which is his goal. There’s more money at the Olympia and his goal is to win the Olympia.”
“He brought up the legs big time. Glutes. I mean, his back is a lot bigger. His front double, standing relaxed, front lat spread, abs and thighs are untouchable period.”
Aceto shared that following his victory in Texas, Andrew Jacked believes ‘100 percent’ that he can win the 2024 Mr. Olympia. In Aceto’s opinion, there’s a chance Jacked might dominate the show.
“Confidence is half your success. There’s real confidence and there’s bamboozled confidence. He’s 100 percent confident he can win.”
“Oh gosh [his physique can win]. I mean, if you’re standing in the lineup, who sticks out in the lineup right now? asks Aceto. “He may dominate it.”
Forging ahead, Aceto laid out their Olympia-winning strategy, which doesn’t involve Jacked putting on any more size.
“I already got a strategy. He’s not coming in bigger. I’m telling you right now, he is growing week to week. He’s like a freight train with no brakes. With this conditioning but five more pounds of muscle. Yes, he can add five pounds of muscle in nine weeks. He’s that locked in. He’s that genetically gifted. He’s got the mental capacity to do it.”
When asked if Jacked could possibly defeat Hadi Choopan, Derek Lunsford, Samson Dauda, and Nick Walker, Aceto kept it simple and said ‘easily.’
“This is the first real contention to the Hadi, Derek, Samson, Nick Walker show. This is a guy who could come in there and theoretically beat them all,” says Dave Palumbo.
“Easily,” remarks Aceto.
Aceto believes Jacked’s performance sent a stern warning shot to the top four — who until now, were seen as set in stone. Looking ahead, Mr. Olympia champion Derek Lunsford, 2022 champion Hadi Choopan, Samson Dauda, and Nick Walker will all have to get through the mountainous Nigerian, which has the makings for a historic one-of-a-kind bodybuilding event.
In Andrew Jacked’s last two Mr. Olympia outings, he secured eighth place in his debut, and then fifth place at the 2023 gathering. The evidence is right in front of our faces: he always makes a jump under the bright lights. Being aesthetic at 300 pounds is a challenging look to deal with and thanks to his towering stature, the Men’s Open class may witness the title change hands once again when the curtains close.
Time will tell if Andrew Jacked can further refine the package he brought to Texas. However, many believe if he does, he’s a shoo-in to become the next Mr. Olympia champion. Thus far, the 2024 Texas Pro has served as the biggest shake-up of the season, with many followers of the sport now re-ranking who they believe will walk away with the coveted Sandow trophy.
Don’t miss the 2024 Mr. Olympia to see if Andrew Jacked can overwhelm the world’s best who are all in pursuit of gold and glory. Full coverage will be provided by the team at Fitness Volt from October 10-13 later this year.
