The 2025 Mr. Olympia Weekend is here and taking place from Oct. 9–12 in Las Vegas, NV. Ahead of the contest, Men’s Open contenders shared final touch physique updates before stepping onstage.

While talks have centered around the ‘big four’ this year, including Samson Dauda, Hadi Choopan, Derek Lunsford, and Nick Walker, other contenders are looming in the background who could easily shake up the competition.

Debutants are looking for breakthrough performances, like Rubiel “Neckzilla” Mosquera and Behrooz Tabani. Mosquera led an impressive 2025 season, picking up victories at the Flex Weekend Italy Pro and Mr. Big Evolution Portugal Pro

Tabani has qualified for the Mr. O the past few years, but due to visa troubles, he never got the chance to test himself against the best. That has now changed, and the bodybuilding community hasn’t counted him out, with legends like Lee Haney placing him in his top-three predictions. To earn his right to compete at the Olympia, Tabani claimed gold at the Dubai Pro and took home a $100,000 purse.

Derek Lunsford

Lunsford has made it clear he’s laser-focused on achieving the sport’s first ‘Triple Crown,” which would mean winning the Arnold Classic, Pittsburgh Pro, and the Mr. Olympia in the same season. He’s 2-0 thus far, and has already registered wins over Dauda and Walker, giving him huge momentum going into the ‘Super Bowl of Bodybuilding.’

Behrooz Tabani

This is a special moment for Tabani, who will make his Olympia debut under Milos Sarcev’s tutelage. They finally get to work together in person, which could pave the way for the Iranian native to make a push into the final callout.

Rubiel Mosquera

Neckzilla’s sheer size and freak factor make him a strong wildcard heading into Olympia. Conditioning has remained an area of improvement for Mosquera, so if he brings that up, judges will likely take a much closer look at him throughout prejudging.
