Dorian Yates may not be competing anymore, but he is still doing some intense work in the gym. This was on display recently, as he showed off a crazy hard workout.

Yates has not competed since 1997, capping off one of the most legendary careers in bodybuilding history. During his thirteen-year pro career, he won several titles, but most notably was his six straight wins at Mr. Olympia. Although he may not have had the longest career, he certainly made the most out of his years.

However, just because Yates has not competed in more than 20 years, does not mean he is not still a major part of the sport. He owns gyms, and nutrition companies, constantly giving back to the sport that essentially made him. Not only that, but he has a well-respected opinion, largely due to his tendency to speak honestly, but stay reserved.

Furthermore, Dorian Yates has been staying active in the gym, as well. Obviously he is well past his prime nowadays, but that does not mean that he is not still kicking butt in the exercise room. A recent video to his Instagram gave a demonstration of that, with him doing some HIIT cardio work.

HIT cardio intervals,” Yates says in the post.” “…back in the gym after some time off …1 minute normal pace interval with 20 second all out blast x 6 = 8 minute total time ….more effective than 45 minutes moderate cardio ……I Hate this Fkin machine …But it works every major muscle group and sucks the life out of you …due to injuries I can’t lift heavy weight but I always find a way to challenge myself ….Be your best ..Do the work !!

Dorian Yates does a good job explaining the workout he is doing, in his post. Nevertheless, it is simply incredible to see him doing these types of High-Intensity Interval Training, especially with how many injuries he has had. All in all, he still looks like an absolute monster here.
