Hugh Jackman is boasting a ripped physique at 55 years old, and according to him, it was all due to diet and exercise. However, in a recent YouTube video, Greg Doucette contends that Jackman is lying about using performance-enhancing drugs and doesn’t buy the celebrity’s claims about his secret being ’tilapia and beans.’

‘Natty or Not’ debates have raged on in the fitness industry for years. They come in all shapes and sizes, most notably, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been at the center of them. While he has never admitted to using steroids, many believe, including Doucette, Joe Rogan, and Derek of More Plates More Dates, that he uses these substances to help build his larger-than-life physique.

Now, it appears Hugh Jackman is in Greg Doucette’s crosshairs. Doucette is a successful bodybuilder and coach, who has carved out a massive following on social media. On YouTube alone, Greg Doucette has acquired over 2.13 million subscribers, making his fitness content highly watched and packed with entertainment value.

Greg Doucette Says Hugh Jackman Is ‘Lying’ About 6,000-Calorie Diet, Believes He’s Using Steroids

Although actor Hugh Jackman isn’t devouring bull testicles like Liver King, his physique has certainly raised eyeballs. However, the Australian heartthrob has been candid about how he’s built his Wolverine-caliber physique. He revealed that he’s carefully crafted his body ‘the old school way’ without the use of steroids, underlining that he’s ‘got to be careful with what I say here.’ So how did he carve out the impressive build? He says it came as a result of eating so much chicken that vegans would be flabbergasted.

Taking his claims into consideration, Greg Doucette breaks down why he believes Jackman might not be telling the truth about enhancing his physique.

“So here’s the thing, he’s lying about the 6,000 calories and he’s lying about the steroids. He’s neither eating 6,000 calories nor is this man natural.”

Instead, Doucette counters with what he believes Jackman’s diet really consists of.

“I would bet, at most, he was consuming 3,000 calories and likely closer to 2,000 calories”.

“You’ve all watched the movie by now and so it was tilapia and beans. That was the secret. And so you really think this 55-year-old man had that body with no testosterone, no performance-enhancing drugs, and zero CGI?”

Doucette doubles down on his claims stating there is no way Jackman can look like that at his age with diet and exercise alone.

“Imagine eating 6,000 calories a day and looking like that at 55 years old. You know what, we’re going to have to imagine it because it’s not possible” Doucette said.

When it comes to claiming ‘Natty’ status, the bodybuilding industry is packed with athletes who swear they don’t use steroids even though their ripped physique might suggest otherwise. Bodybuilding veteran Seth Feroce previously shared his thoughts on 12 popular fitness influencers regarding whether they are using PEDs or not. Greg Doucette was unsurprisingly on the list, considering he has openly discussed using TRT and other compounds in the past.

While steroids have become a popular topic, especially in the bodybuilding community, it isn’t always for the best. With an influx of young athletes passing away, dialogues around PED risk prevention are important. Celebrities, including Hugh Jackman, set an example of what can be achieved whether it is through natural means or with steroids. According to Jackman, his shredded physique came down to diet and exercise.
