Hadi Choopan looks unstoppable coming off his win at the 2024 Arnold Classic that was held from February 29 through March 3 in Columbus, Ohio. In a recent YouTube video, Choopan prepared for the 2024 Arnold Classic UK stage with an intense back workout just days before the event.
Hadi Choopan has made waves in the sport of bodybuilding, quickly establishing himself as an elite competitor. In 2022, he reached the pinnacle of his career, having laid claim to the Mr. Olympia title, defeating his teammate Derek Lunsford in the finals. However, Choopan was unable to successfully defend his title in 2023 and succumbed to the superior back detail of Lunsford, who went on to become the sport’s first-ever two-division Olympia titleholder.
Hadi Choopan Crushes Hardcore Back Workout Days From 2024 Arnold Classic UK
Undeterred, Choopan was eager to fulfill his quest for redemption signing up for the 2024 Arnold Classic Ohio show. This would be no easy feat as Hadi Choopan went up against the 2023 Arnold Classic champion Samson Dauda, who boasts next-level size.
Dauda brought impressive fullness but lacked the muscular detail needed to defeat Choopan. Ultimately, Choopan stole the show with his granite conditioning, earning his first win on the Arnold Classic stage and a $300,000 cash prize to boot. Choopan isn’t finished yet though, now he has set his sights on round two against Samson Dauda at the 2024 Arnold Classic UK.

Before getting into the workout, Hadi Choopan reveals that he has been dealing with a virus and taking antibiotics.
“These past few days the new virus has bothered us. I’ve been sick and dealing with infection and antibiotics for the last 20 days but still there is positive energy to think about and move on from sickness. They were really bad days” Hadi Choopan said.
Hadi Choopan wasn’t the only finalist in the 2024 Arnold Classic to come down with an illness. Days following his runner-up performance to the ‘Persian Wolf,’ Dauda was forced to go to the hospital after admitting that his body ‘was failing.’ He later revealed that he suffered from the flu, sharing that his body was extra vulnerable after competing with a low body fat percentage.
Given their competitive history, many bodybuilding veterans believe Choopan is ‘closing in’ on Lunsford’s Olympia title. Notable voices of the sport such as Dennis James and King Kamali aren’t convinced Lunsford will be able to stop Choopan at the sport’s biggest event of the year.
Should Hadi Choopan emerge with another title at the 2024 Arnold Classic UK, he will be one step closer to achieving not only redemption but also establishing himself as a two-time Olympia winner when he inevitably rematches his teammate this October.
